Beyond the Forest & Into the Sunshine - Part 5

     After their date Tommy took Bella home and they sat in the living room and spoke for hours. They both loved black and white movies so they put one in and watched it. Tommy had his arm around her and half way through the movie she fell asleep on his shoulder. When the movie was over he scooped her up in his arms and took her to her bed and laid her down. He grabbed a chair and fell asleep in it so she knew he never left.
     In the morning he woke up before Bella, he left his suit jacket on the chair and went to make breakfast. He rolled up his sleeves and made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and homemade orange juice. But before he was done Bella woke up and she looked over at the chair. She saw his jacket but she saw something else too. A small black velvet box. The first thing to pop in her mind was 'he's going to propose.' To be sure she got up and tip toed to the chair, she grabbed the box and opened it. There it was, a fourteen karat square cut diamond in a little black box. She sat down and her eyes stung. At that moment Tommy walked in, he stopped at the door and she looked over. The first thing he saw were the tears in her eyes. He set down the food on the bed and walked over to her.
    "Bella, you weren't suppose to find that." He said.
    "I didn't do through your pockets, it was sitting here on the chair." She said.
    "It must have been when I was sleeping, it probably fell out of my pocket. I just bought this yesterday, I was going to wait until I was done planning the proposal. The fairies were helping." He explained. "But since you found it," He said getting down on one knee, "Bella Maria Sanchez, will you marry me?"
